About Us
Universal Welding & Engineering Company started operations in the gas Industry in 1962 with
a Indian Oxygen (Now Known as BOC India Ltd) dealership. Back then there were mainly two
products Oxygen & Acetylene gas. Since then we have added over 20 products to our Inventory
and keep expanding everyday.
We have a strong and robust infrastructure laid in place for the distribution of these products with personnel who are well versed and have accurate knowledge about gases. Most of our present employees are with us for the past 30 odd years and continue to be with us. The present sales of our company is $ 0.5 million and we look towards increasing this to $ 1.2 million within the next 2 years.

In todays market the total inventory of cylinders owned by the company is valued at Rs.200.00 Lacs aside from the fixed assets. The entire accounts are computerized and the office is equipped with a Windows XP pier to pier network with internet and email facilities as well as fax. The company is a registered firm with the sales tax dept. The company banks with : Citizen Credit Co-op Bank Ltd & HDFC Bank Ltd
